About Us

KartSetups was born at the track.

Built by people with decades of combined software development and karting experience, KartSetups exists because we kept losing valuable information. On too many practice and race days, setups were scribbled down in a rush — or never written down at all — and hard-won knowledge disappeared with them. In late 2022 we decided enough was enough and built a prototype for our own use. It quickly became clear this was a problem karters everywhere face.

After a fantastic beta testing stage at the beginning of 2023 — making the system robust and adding some really cool features — we launched in April 2023. Our ethos is simple: data is key, and storing it in a way that drivers and teams can easily analyse is what turns laps into wins. We're proud to keep working with the great karting community to make KartSetups as useful as it can be.
